As we head off into a well-earned break this afternoon, I want to underscore the central message of today’s Yule Festival: gratitude. I am so grateful for all the ways members of this community embody our vision statement’s invitation to “Find joy in challenge, lead with compassion, achieve with integrity, and advocate for self and others.” I see it in the way our students take care of one another, in the way our teachers create a supportive environment in which learning is joyfully collaborative rather than competitive, in the unwavering efforts of our staff in supporting all the details that keep Park running smoothly, and in the many ways our families extend themselves with the gift of time, generosity of spirit, and belief in what we can achieve together.
Warmest wishes to all who are observing the upcoming holidays. I hope everyone has the opportunity to share good time with family, time to relax and play, time to laugh and reflect, and that you will join me in carrying that spirit of gratitude forward as we enter the new year. See you in 2025!
